If you have been involved in an accident that wasn’t your fault, then under Australian Law, you are entitled to a replacement. The cost of this is claimed through the insurer of the driver who was at fault.

# Will I just have to take any old vehicle?

A definite ‘no’ to this one. Our aim is to match, as closely as possible, the type of vehicle you are currently driving. This can range from something compact to a luxury vehicle, a four-wheel drive or SUV, or even a van or ute if you are a busy tradesperson. Whichever meets your needs, it will be a late model vehicle.

# Is the replacement vehicle insured?

Yes. Should you be unlucky enough to suffer an accident in your replacement vehicle, each one comes with comprehensive insurance. In such circumstances, you should contact us as quickly as possible.

If the accident wasn’t your fault, it’s important that you obtain the other party’s licence details, vehicle registration number, and the person’s phone number.

# Where do I need to go to collect my replacement vehicle?

Actually, we’ll organise for it to be brought to you. For example, we can have it delivered to the repair shop where you have taken your car. Or we can arrange for it to be brought to your home or workplace. Once your vehicle is ready to get back on the road, we can even have the replacement picked up again from outside the repair shop.
